The Department of Sanskrit typically refers to an academic department  that focuses on the study of Sanskrit language, literature, culture, and related fields. The Department of Sanskrit was stated from 09/04/2010. Sanskrit is an ancient Indo-Aryan language that has played a significant role in the development of Indian culture, philosophy, and literature. . Being the mother of all Indian languages and the most significant among the Indo-European family of languages, the study of Sanskrit can open the Avenues of knowledge both sacred and secular. 

These courses may cover topics such as Sanskrit grammar, literature, poetry, philosophy, linguistics, ancient Indian texts (such as the Vedas, Upanishads, epics like the Mahabharata and Ramayana, and classical Sanskrit literature), as well as the historical and cultural contexts in which Sanskrit was used.

The objective of the Sanskrit department of the college lies in making the pupils aware of the holistic approach to life and knowledge so that they can grow as both responsible and wise citizens of the nation.

  B.A General   sem -1to sem-6 (CBCS).

 four year Under Graduate Programme Major & Minor(NEP2020).
